INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE OF FURNITURE

  1. Furniture should be used in accordance with it is design and purpose, which means that, for example, it is prohibited to stand on chairs/tabletops, sit on armrests/headboards/tabletops, dry or hang clothes on chair backs, swing/rock on chairs etc.

  2. Furniture should be used in dry, closed, and weather-resistant rooms that are protected against direct sunlight. Furniture coatings undergo degradation. The degree of degradation is dependent on the intensity of radiation.

  3. The permissible air temperature in rooms with furniture is 10-35℃ .The permissible humidity should be between 40 and 70%. The distance between furniture and active heat sources such as radiators, stoves or fireplaces should be at least 1m. Furniture should not be placed on wet surfaces either, for example wet floors, carpets. Failure to comply with the temperature and humidity recommendations may result in deformation, changes to the shape of bent components, cracks in wooden parts, damage to upholstery or plaiting, degradation or fading of the paint surface.

  4. The useable surfaces of furniture made of solid wood or natural veneer should be protected against direct heat, moisture and chemical substances, e.g. hot dishes, irons, liquids, alcohol or solvents because they may cause damage in the form of fading or tarnishing. On the other hand, furniture surfaces made of artificial veneer e.g. HPL aminates display resistance against heat, humidity and some chemical substances. Avoid contact with sharp objects or hard materials to prevent scratches or damage to the sofa surface. When cleaning the sofa, use a soft damp cloth and avoid using cleaners containing chemicals or acids/bases.

  4. Maintenance and Care:
    Avoid direct sunlight on the sofa during daily use to prevent material fading or deformation. Evenly distribute the use of the sofa to reduce local pressure and extend its service life.
    Regularly flip the sofa cushions and backrests to maintain the balance and fluffiness of the filling.

    For leather sofas, never use water to clean them directly to prevent water from penetrating into the leather interior, causing the sofa to crack.
    If a leather sofa has stains, it is recommended to use a clean cloth dipped in alcohol to wipe it, then use a moderately damp cloth to wipe it clean. Applying maintenance wax to a leather sofa can form a protective film, reducing the infiltration of dust and stains, and maintaining the softness of the leather.

    The weight capacity of the sofa armrest differs from the seat cushion, so please do not sit on the sofa armrest. Avoid spilling colored liquids, chemicals, and oily substances on the sofa to prevent material damage. Keep the sofa 2-3 cm away from other painted furniture and walls to avoid wear and tear on the fabric.
